Sewing Along and Catching Up

The peak of summer sewing... along!

I had been wanting to make this block up since last summer when Lori 

first did a tutorial for it on her blog!

 I am so glad that Kim

chose it to be her block for the Bees Knees!

However, now that I have made one... it's not enough. I need a

whole quilt of my own!

I host a retreat in the fall... so that might be the perfect time to 

work on this... the "perfect project"!

Nedra has already gotten this block in the mail! I am so 

glad it's done and in her hands now!

It shouldn't take me so long to catch up...

but sometimes it just does.

I was working on another block that I needed to catch up on too...

it is Amy's block.

Unfortunately, I cut something wrong and was at a standstill on it but

yesterday I received a little envelope first aid kit from Amy so now

I can get that one done too!

I am so thankful to be in this group with all of you 

talented women!

I hope all of you have been having a wonderful summer with your 

family and enjoying nature... and all

those fun things summer has to offer.

If I owe you a block... don't worry! I will finish up on my 

"catch-up" blocks this weekend!
