But then I wondered if it would be too much of a random outlier with all the other creations, so I came up with a simple star using the remaining fabrics. I promise I'm not trying to be an over achiever. :) This quilt is turning out so cute! I love all the blocks so far. I can't wait to see what Sherri does with them.
That is the cutest little house block! I love your warm happy sun! :o) And your star block is just perfect!
ReplyDeletePerfect fabric for a sun. It WILL be fun to see what Sherri does with all of them.
ReplyDeleteIf you guys heard a sound equal to the sound of a sonic boom… that was just me falling of my chair when I first came here. OHMYGOSH, I'm kinda weepy (no seriously, I'm in a full blown weepy weep) seeing that Sherri picked Happy Mochi Yum Yum for her blocks and seeing all the awefreakingsome beautiful blocks you guys are making. PLEASE DO NOT PINCH ME, I want this wonderful feeling to last and last! Thank you Amy for pointing your guys' bee out to me!!!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are awesome, as is your ADORABLE blog (I'm betting it's the super-bionic, ultra-awesome, uber-talented adorb hand of Shari at work here!)!! XXXOOO!!!
I stopped by to read Monica's comment...and realized I hadn't commented here yet...Amy, your blocks are amazing...I love them both!!!
ReplyDeleteAlright, Amy, trust you to come up with a block that adorable. And the orange roof? Genius, I tell you.
